Nasscom Product Conclave 2011, Bangalore

8 Nov

About The Event

It is fascinating to observe the similarities in the structures of an orchestra and a corporate enterprise.  Just as the harmonious music from an orchestra is fashioned by multiple instruments, in a corporate set-up, myriad activities are orchestrated to create value that is exchanged with the customer for a price.  All businesses strive to achieve – and maximize – this exchange across all their activities, internal and external.

The Chief Executive Officer of the firm – much like the concert master – carefully determines the framework in which these forces function and interact with each other. However, the scenario gets complicated with the introduction of the external forces, which have the potential to make or break an enterprise.  It is imperative for businesses today – especially start-ups – to holistically understand the Forces@Work which is why NASSCOM focuses on this theme at the Product Conclave this year

Similar to the traditional definition of forces in physics, business forces also act on organizations – and alter their state, shape and, most often, also direction. At the heart of every C-suite decision lies the CUSTOMER which places a slightly disproportionate importance on vector forces that direct themselves towards this segment. This year,  the “never miss” NASSCOM  Product  Conclave  deliberates these very “Forces @ Work” and aims to equip attendees with powerful ideas that will help build and take products to the customer.

All successful companies at every stage of their evolution focus on being “market-led”. This is more crucial for start-ups, which otherwise have a fallacious tendency to be “technology-led”. The conference will address core issues businesses face today – be it new areas of opportunity, exploring new markets, scaling business, enterprise or consumer sales, hyper growth vs. slow growth.

Speakers List

Personally I am really looking forward as a lot of interesting and exciting entrepreneurs are taking part in various keynotes/panels/round-tables and so on! Another reason to be excited is just our visionary and inspiring co-founder of Tally Solutions – Mr.Bharat Goenka would also be taking part in one of the panels session!! 🙂

In today’s highly flat world, I feel its imperative for professionals/entrepreneurs to attend these events to meet people, bounce ideas, or just for motivation/inspiration. Working and restricting yourself to your cubicle can take you away from so many new ideas/thoughts and put you in a cocoon.

See you there!
